Q: What is your dog’s name and breed?
A: Ben (or Benny) – Beagle
Q: How old is your dog?
A: Twelve and a half in human years, and a spritely 70 in beagle years.
Q: How long have you and your dog been a pack member at Allsorts?
A: Ben started on the first day (with Debbie Coleman).
Q: What day of the week does your dog attend Allsorts?
A: Wednesday and Friday (sometimes Monday)
Q: What is your dog’s favourite thing to do on the weekends?
A: Snooze in the air conditioning, eat sausage rolls and bacon and eggs, sniff out Riverway for leftover BBQ’s and food, and swim in the creek or river.
Q: What is your dog’s favourite treat or food?
A: Ben will eat anything that looks like food, or even once resembled food. Take-away food left on the road is a real treat (if he manages to get in quick).
Q: Does your dog have any other pack members at home? E.g. Dogs, cats or chickens?
A: Ben’s always been an only dog and seems to like it that way. His best friend is Zoe (his grandparents’ Labrador), and he has a beagle friend Scooter he goes walking with.
Q: What’s the funnies thing your dog has got up too?
A: Most of Ben’s funniest moments have only been funny after the fact, not so much at the time, and include rolling in anything disgusting (including a pile of human poo he found at the park), getting lost in drains (he once came out of a council drain onto a six lane highway), and almost drowned once trying to chase a family of ducks across a lake.
Q: Would you like to add anything else about your dog?
A: Allsorts has been a second home to Benny, and he’s always been treated so brilliantly there. We’re very grateful he’s been able to be a pack member of Allsorts for so long.

Such a brilliant idea and it’s so interesting to read all about other owners and their beautiful animals.
